Where is Blythe Valley Park
Blythe Valley Park sits on junction 4 of the M42 at Shirley, on the southern edge of Solihull.
It covers 122 acres, houses more than 30 businesses and employs around 3,500 people. Solihull town centre is about 10 minutes away by car and Birmingham Airport about 12.
Blythe Valley Park is a mix of corporate headquarters, regional offices, an innovation centre for smaller firms, and industrial and logistics units at the Connexion development.
Which companies are based at Blythe Valley Park
Gymshark
Gymshark's global headquarters, GSHQ, is on Central Boulevard, alongside its GSIQ innovation centre and the Gymshark Lifting Club gym.
Because it is the head office rather than a satellite, the roles that come up are head-office functions such as e-commerce and trading, performance marketing, brand and content, buying and merchandising, supply chain, data, software engineering, finance and customer service.
See current Gymshark vacancies and what it is like to work there.
Oracle
Oracle have permanently closed it's office on Blythe Valley Park, although the Park still has a road named after it, which can lead to confusion.

Siemens
Siemens covers industrial automation, electrification, smart infrastructure and rail.
Roles skew towards electrical, mechanical and software engineering, project and field service management, procurement and commercial. Siemens also runs a substantial early careers programme, so this is one of the more realistic routes onto the park for entry level, apprentices and graduates.
Taylor Wimpey
This is a regional housebuilding business, which means most of its staff are not sat on the park.
Office based roles include land and planning, technical, commercial and quantity surveying, sales, customer care, finance and administration. Site managers, assistant site managers and trades are recruited through this office but work on developments across the region.
Lounge
The underwear and apparel brand runs its head office here. As with Gymshark, the functions are direct to consumer. Brand and creative, performance marketing, e-commerce and CRM, design, buying and merchandising, operations, finance and customer service, plus warehouse and retail roles as the store estate grows. Smaller and specialist occupiers
The park also houses Enzen, a utilities focused consulting and engineering firm working across energy and water; Ridge and Partners, a property and construction consultancy; and ZF, an automotive technology supplier.
The Blythe Valley Innovation Centre, run in partnership with the University of Warwick Science Park, hosts start-ups and scale-ups in small serviced offices.
Connexion
The Connexion units are industrial and logistics space, not offices.
This is where warehouse, production, technical and operations roles on the park come from, and it is the part most people overlook when they picture Blythe Valley as a business park.
What job roles come up at Blythe Valley Park
Blythe Valley is a professional and technical employment site.
The bulk of vacancies are mid-level office roles that expect relevant experience, and genuine entry-level openings are limited outside the Connexion units, customer service teams and early-careers schemes.
If you are looking for a first job or high volume shift work in Solihull, the airport and NEC campus at Bickenhill is a far denser source of it.
Most employers advertise under their brand name rather than by location, so searching the company directly will surface more than searching the park will.
The big names here recruit through national careers sites with their own application systems, and roles can close early when volume is high.
Getting to Blythe Valley Park
Postcodes
The park spans several postcodes and buildings are spread across a large site, so a generic park postcode can drop you at the wrong end of it.
One Central Boulevard, for example, is B90 8BG. Use the exact postcode on your interview invitation rather than one you found for the park as a whole, and allow a few minutes to find the right building once you are through the entrance.
By car
The park is directly off junction 4 of the M42 via the A34.
The entrance comes up quickly after you leave the motorway, and the junction roundabout makes it easy to rejoin the M42 by mistake. Get into the correct lane before you exit.
At peak times the A34 and J4 both queue, so add contingency for a first-day or interview journey.
By train, plus the free shuttle
There is no station on the park, but there is a free shuttle bus connecting Blythe Valley to Birmingham International at peak times, taking around 18 minutes.
Seats must be booked in advance through the Zee Ride app. That single link is what makes the park commutable without a car from anywhere on the Coventry line into Birmingham New Street, and from the airport and NEC side of the borough.
By bus
The A7 and A8 South Solihull circular services run hourly through the day and stop within the park, reaching Dorridge station in about 13 minutes and Solihull town centre and station in about 30.
Cycling and parking
The park connects into the Solihull cycle route network, with shared pedestrian and cycle routes inside the site and controlled crossings on the A34 at the entrance and exit.
There are cycle racks and electric vehicle charging points. Parking is provided on site but managed building by building, often with permits or visitor registration.
Before you apply for a job on the Blythe Valley Park
- Check which site the role is actually based at. Several occupiers here are regional offices for businesses that operate across the Midlands, so the advertised location is not always where you would spend your week.
- Test the commute at the right time of day. J4 at 8am is a different road from J4 at 11am, and the bus timetable thins out either side of the working day.
- Apply early. The consumer brands on the park attract heavy application volumes and roles can be pulled before the advertised closing date.
