Purus Healthcare is looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and highly skilled Registered General Nurse (RGN) as a Bank Nurse to join the team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care while maintaining professional standards and ensuring the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of patients.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with clinical guidelines.
Monitor patients' conditions and accurately document clinical observations.
Work collaboratively with doctors, allied healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards.
Adhere to infection prevention and control policies.
Promote patient safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding practices.
Participate in clinical audits, training, and continuous professional development.

Essential Requirements

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC Pin).
Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Good knowledge of UK healthcare standards and clinical governance.
Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach.

Desirable Qualifications

Previous atleast 6 months of NHS or UK Residential Care Home/ Nursing Home healthcare experience.

Working Hours

Shifts may include Days, Nights, Weekends/Weekdays, Bank holidays, and Rotational schedules depending on service requirements.
