Administration Assistant

A flexible three-day role with an established manufacturing business in Rotherham

Location: Rotherham

Hours: Part time - any three days of your choice

Salary: £15,000 per annum (£25,000 full-time equivalent)

The opportunity

Travis Talent is recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing client in Rotherham for a capable and organised Operations & Maintenance Administration Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody seeking genuine flexibility. The role is offered on a part-time basis, working any three days of your choice each week. You will provide reliable day-to-day administrative support across the Operations and Maintenance functions, helping to keep paperwork, communication and key information accurate and up to date.

What you will be doing

Completing administrative tasks accurately and within agreed timescales

Making sure paperwork is completed, filed and retained correctly

Supporting the administration processes for the Operations and Maintenance departments

Communicating with internal colleagues and customers

Recording and maintaining key management information and KPIs

Providing wider administrative cover when required

Using online induction portals and helping to produce Operations & Maintenance manuals, risk assessments and method statements following contractor templates

What we are looking for

An excellent organiser with the motivation to manage your own workload

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience of AX would be useful

The ability to prioritise and adapt in a varied working environment

A practical approach and a willingness to learn more complex duties with training

A confident team player and clear communicator

Experience in manufacturing, construction, lockers or cubicles would be advantageous, but relevant transferable experience will also be considered

Ideally, four GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, an equivalent NVQ, or relevant experience in a similar environment

Working pattern and salary

The position pays £15,000 per annum for three days per week, based on a full-time equivalent salary of £25,000. The successful candidate can choose which three days they work, with the exact working hours to be agreed with the employer.
