Temporary Administrator

£12–£14 per hour
Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
Temporary booking: Monday 14th September – Friday 23rd October

We are looking for a confident and organised Temporary Administrator to provide support within a busy office environment for a six-week temporary booking. This is primarily a customer service and administration role, involving regular communication with customers alongside a variety of general office and accounts-related administrative duties. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable speaking with customers over the telephone, handling confidential information and completing routine administrative tasks accurately.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

Providing a professional and helpful customer service to customers.
Printing and posting customer invoices.
Taking card payments securely over the telephone.
Generating and sending chase letters and customer statements.
Providing customers with copy invoices and other requested documentation.
Responding to general customer queries in a clear and professional manner.
Ensuring information and documentation is handled accurately and confidentially.
Completing general office and administrative tasks as required.
Using basic Word and Excel as part of day-to-day administration.
Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customer and financial information.

The Person

We are looking for someone who is confident, reliable and comfortable working in an office-based customer service environment.

You will need:

A confident and clear telephone manner.
GCSE-level Maths and English as a minimum.
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
Good basic PC literacy.
The ability to complete administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
At least a basic familiarity with the principles of Data Protection and confidentiality.
A professional approach when handling customer information and payments.
A flexible attitude and willingness to assist with general office duties.
This would suit someone with previous administration or customer service experience who is available for the full duration of the temporary booking.
