About the Role:

We are currently seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join a busy office in Exeter City Centre on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting and greeting visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and being the face of a business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reception area operates smoothly and visitors receive a warm and professional welcome.

The ideal candidate will be organised, confident communicating with a range of people and able to manage multiple tasks within a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Meeting and greeting visitors.
Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
Maintaining a professional and welcoming reception area.
Handling incoming and outgoing post.
Booking meeting rooms and coordinating appointments.
Providing administrative support to the wider team.
Managing email enquiries and correspondence.
Assisting with office coordination duties as required.
Updating internal records and databases accurately.
Preparing, scanning and filing documentation.
Supporting the team with general administrative tasks.
Ensuring a high standard of customer service is delivered at all times.

About You:

Essential

Previous reception, front of house, administration or customer service experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Professional and friendly telephone manner.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
Reliable, punctual and professional.
