Part-Time Finance & Office Administrator

Waterlooville | £13.50–£14.00 per Hour + Free Parking + Pension | Approx. 15 Hours per Week, Friday + 1 Weekday | Perm or Temp to Perm

Are you an experienced Part-Time Office Administrator with Xero knowledge and previous experience within construction or engineering?

A well-established business is looking for a reliable and proactive Part-Time Office Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of a busy office. This varied position combines bookkeeping, administration and communication with employees and subcontractors.

You must be available to work every Friday, plus one additional weekday, totalling approximately 15 hours per week. There may also be scope for a third working day in the future.

Job Responsibilities

Manage emails, telephone calls and general correspondence.
Complete day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration using Xero.
Maintain accurate filing, records and office documentation.
Liaise with subcontractors and employees to support ongoing work.
Order and maintain stationery, refreshments and office supplies.
Keep the office organised, professional and well maintained.
Support general administrative tasks across the business.
Provide additional holiday cover during the year when required.

Skills & Knowledge Required

Have previous office administration or coordination experience.
Demonstrate practical Xero experience – essential.
Have previous construction or engineering industry experience.
Use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook confidently.
Possess excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Communicate professionally with employees, contractors and suppliers.
Work independently with a dependable and proactive approach.
Hold a full UK driving licence due to the office location.

The Part-Time Finance & Office Administrator must be available on Fridays, 7:30am–4:30pm, with flexibility around the additional weekday worked. Availability to provide additional hours for staff holiday cover would be advantageous.
