Job Overview
As a Front Desk Executive, you will be the face and voice of Becks Cafe. Your main responsibilities will involve managing incoming phone calls, processing table reservations, greeting guests upon arrival, and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage table reservations accurately using our booking system.
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, verify booking details, and escort them to their designated tables.
- Manage customer feedback, inquiries, and special requirements (e.g., dietary restrictions, event bookings) professionally.
- Coordinate effectively with the service and kitchen staff to ensure optimal table turnover and smooth guest flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and reception area.
- Process guest payments or handle bill inquiries at the front counter when necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception, host/hostess, or customer service role is preferred, but not essential (full training will be provided).
- Excellent communication and telephone etiquette in English.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail for managing reservation schedules.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital restaurant reservation systems (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during peak dining hours.
