About Us

We are a brand-new entertainment venue in Greenock, offering something for everyone. We have a lively atmosphere with food and drinks, live sports on TV, darts, pool tables, karaoke, quiz nights, parties and private events.

We are open 7 days a week and are looking for a friendly, professional and outgoing SIA Door Supervisor to join our team as we build the venue and establish ourselves in the local community.

As our Door Supervisor, you'll play an important part in making sure our customers have a safe, enjoyable and welcoming experience.

We're looking for someone who is confident dealing with people, approachable and able to handle situations calmly and professionally.

Your duties will include:

• Providing a friendly and professional presence at the venue
• Monitoring customers entering and leaving the premises
• Checking ID and ensuring our age-verification policies are followed
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff
• Dealing calmly and professionally with difficult or challenging situations
• Monitoring customer behaviour and identifying potential issues before they escalate
• Supporting the management team with the smooth running of the venue
• Assisting with closing procedures when required
• Working alongside the wider team to ensure customers have a great night

We're looking for someone who is:

• SIA Door Supervisor licensed and holds a valid SIA badge
• Friendly, approachable and outgoing
• Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
• Calm under pressure
• Professional and reliable
• Comfortable working in a busy entertainment environment
• Able to use good judgement and deal with situations diplomatically
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Available to work evenings and weekends

Previous experience in pubs, clubs, bars, hospitality or licensed premises would be an advantage, but attitude and personality are equally important.

Hours

We expect the role to be approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on availability and the needs of the venue.

Typical shifts will be around 8:00pm–1:00am, particularly across Friday and Saturday nights, with additional shifts available during the week.

There may also be opportunities for additional hours during busy periods, parties and special events.
