Assembly Operatives
About the Role
We are currently seeking a number of Assembly Operatives to join a busy team on a long term basis. This role will involve working to specifications, assembling quality components and sub-assemblies within a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics
- Assemble components and sub-assemblies to defined specifications
- Carry out soldering tasks to a high standard
- Use hand tools and soldering equipment to complete assembly task
Skills & Experience Required
- Some form of experience within assembly based work
- Strong soldering skills although training can be given
- Competence with hand tools
- Ability to confidently read basic drawings
Additional Info:
- Hours: 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
- Rate; £13.25-£14.75 per hour
- Start Date: ASAP
