We are recruiting for a Skilled Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Chesterfield. This is a hands-on role involving the assembly and manufacture of flagpoles and bespoke products, with full training provided.
The Role- Assemble flagpoles and bespoke products.
- Measure and prepare materials for production.
- Operate production equipment and power tools.
- Move and store materials and finished goods.
- Pack products ready for dispatch.
- Assist with stock checks and general warehouse duties.
- Maintain machinery and keep the production area clean and organised.
- Support engineers with day-to-day tasks.
- Occasional local deliveries and off-site work may be required.
- Manufacturing experience, ideally working with metals.
- Confident using power tools or similar equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
- £12.71 per hour
