Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution team based on the outskirts of Exeter.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for ongoing, consistent work who is available to start immediately.

Key Duties

• Assisting with unloading and loading of daily deliveries.
• Accurately processing and logging orders onto the in-house systems.
• Picking orders using a handheld scanner.
• Wrapping and checking orders prior to labelling and shipment.
• Carrying out stock checks and assisting with inventory management.
  
• Cleaning and tidying the warehouse daily to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is essential (ideally 1 - 2 years).
• Ability to carry out manual handling of heavy goods safely.
• Strong IT skills to manage warehouse administration and log orders on internal CRM systems.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• Effective time management.
