Production Operative
The basics:
Job Title: Production Operative
Role: Permanent

Location: Near Stapleford, Nottingham
Shift:
Days: Mon-Thurs (7.00am-3.30pm) and Fri (7.00am-12.30pm)
Nights: approx. every 6-8 weeks and you would work in two week blocks Mon-Wed (8.00pm-6am) and Thurs (8pm-5.30am)
Pay:
Days: £12.82 per hour
Nights: £17.05 per hour
Earnings:
£25,000 minimum (working days only) with earnings of £27,000 approx. when working nights.
Benefits: 33 days holiday, Bonus, Pension scheme (5% employer contribution), Death-in-service payment (4x salary)
Overview:
Working in first class manufacturing facilities for a company that have production sites across the world we now require additional Production Operative to join business. This is a permanent role employed directly to the company who can offer stability due to the products that they make.
Overview of duties:
- Picking and sorting of product from the machinery
- Boxing and bagging ready for dispatch
- Aiding the machine setters – ensuring material availability
- Working on the clean room to finish the product
- Machine minding
The ideal candidate / Production Operative may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Previous experience working in a production environment – packing, bagging and boxing ready for dispatch.
- Worked in hands on production role – ensuring material availability for production.

Nottingham, Stapleford, Derby, Long Eaton, Heanor, Ilkeston and surrounding areas.
