HR & Payroll Assistant
The role will be to support the HR and Payroll teams with day to day activities and provide a great generalist experience for someone keen to learn.
Key Details
- 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working after probation
- Starting salary circa £30,000
- Ideal for someone looking to further develop their HR experience

- Process employee starters and leavers, including contracts and employment documentation
- Maintain and update employee records on internal systems
- Update the team on findings from various people related reports
- Support managers with basic HR related queries and probationary processes
- Assist with weekly and monthly payroll administration, including timecard checks
- Respond to payroll queries via email, phone and internal systems
- Calculate starter and leaver information and issue relevant payroll documentation
- Previous experience in HR and Payroll
- Ideally knowledge of HR and payroll systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Working towards, or interested in pursuing, a HR qualification
