Vehicle Technician

We are representing a respected, family-run garage located in Chertsey, Surrey, in their search for a Vehicle Technician. The Vehicle Technician will be integral to delivering high-quality repairs and diagnostics in a well-equipped workshop, fostering a supportive and friendly team atmosphere.

• Working hours of 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
• Potential to earn an OTE of £42,000 annually

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Performing diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a broad range of vehicles
• Conducting mechanical repairs including clutch replacements and heavier mechanical tasks
• Providing honest and professional advice to customers
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and workshop cleanliness
• Managing workshop workflow efficiently to meet deadlines
• Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or LCV Technician
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility to work overtime, including Saturdays
• Full UK driving licence
