Conveyancing Solicitor
We are working with an established London law firm seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join its property team.
This is a varied position requiring experience across both residential and commercial property matters, making it particularly suitable for a solicitor looking to maintain a broad property caseload.
The Role
- Residential sales and purchases
- Freehold and leasehold transactions
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New-build transactions where applicable
- Commercial property sales and acquisitions
- Commercial leases
- Landlord and tenant property matters
- Reviewing and drafting property documentation
- Conducting title investigations and searches
- Liaising with clients, lenders, agents and other solicitors
- Managing transactions through exchange and completion
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor admitted to practise in England & Wales
- Current SRA practising certificate
- Approximately 2-3 years' PQE
- Strong conveyancing/property experience
- Experience across both residential and commercial property
- Ability to independently manage transactions from instruction through to completion
- Strong knowledge of relevant property law and conveyancing procedures
- Excellent client-care and communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
