The Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Person to support the efficient day to day running of our fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse operation. Working across key warehouse functions, you will be responsible for assisting with goods-in processes, fruit quality checks, order picking and packing, stock handling, and other general warehouse duties, ensuring products are handles accurately, safely, and efficiently. Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence.

Hours

45 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, 7am to 6pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders
  • Entering goods in via electronic portal
  • Racking and de-racking goods safely and in the correct locations within the warehouses
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately, in an efficient and timely manner
  • Preparing goods for delivery, including correct labelling and wrapping is completed.
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if licensed) in a safe and efficient manner, to promote a safe working environment.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly checks on operational warehouse equipment.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and inventory control activities across all warehouse areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse, operating a ‘clean as you go’ policy.
  • Follow all RASOP documents to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Report damaged or missing items through electronic portal.
  • Report accidents, incidents and near misses through electronic portal.
  • Assist ‘Fruit Packing’ team as and when required and in line with business demands.
  • Assist with any duties that are deemed necessary by direction of the company’s needs.
  • Attend and maintain mandatory training to demonstrate competency.
