About the Role

AS Care Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to oversee our Mental Health Residential and Supported Living Services in Rochdale.

This is a key role responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring high standards of care, safe staffing, and compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures.

The role requires a confident manager who is hands-on, organised, and able to lead staff teams while ensuring quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring safe and person-centred care.
Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding, and company policies.
Lead on audits, quality monitoring, and service improvements.
Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, appraisals, and performance.
Oversee care planning, risk management, incident reporting, and medication governance.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation using electronic systems.
Work effectively with external professionals, commissioners, and health/social care services.
Ensure the service environment is safe, well maintained, and inspection ready.

Essential Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a regulated care setting.
Minimum 3 years’ experience within Mental Health services.
Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and mental health support.
Good knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Good IT skills, including ability to complete audits and reports.
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
Must have the legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
