Marketing Manager (remote)

Our client is a boutique, high-end specialist travel agency seeking a data-driven Marketing Manager to lead their brand through an exciting period of growth. They are currently undergoing a full brand refresh, including the launch of a brand-new WordPress website.

Unlike transactional e-commerce platforms, their business thrives on bespoke, high-touch luxury service. This is a "call to book" travel model, which means your primary focus will be understanding, mapping, and optimizing a sophisticated customer journey to generate high-quality leads and drive customer lifetime value.

The ideal candidate is less of a pure "creative" marketer and more of an analytical strategist - someone who truly loves, understands, and leverages data to drive decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Website & Rebrand Management

Website Launch & Optimization: Oversee the transition to our new WordPress website, ensuring it aligns with our high-end brand identity.
Customer Journey Mapping: Constantly evaluate and optimize the user experience, recognizing that the digital journey's ultimate goal is to drive a phone inquiry ("call to book").

Lead Acquisition & Strategy

Multi-Channel Lead Generation: Manage, optimize, and scale our current organic and paid advertising channels to ensure a steady pipeline of high-value leads.
Strategic Partnerships: Explore, develop, and manage strategic B2B partnerships (with a particular focus on collaborating with luxury US companies) to expand our audience reach.

Retention & Loyalty

Repeat Custom Strategy: Build and execute strategies aimed at increasing customer lifetime value and fostering repeat bookings.
Loyalty Program Development: Conceptualize and potentially launch a dedicated loyalty club tailored to high-net-worth travel clients.

Data & Analytics

Data-Driven Decision Making: Routinely analyze marketing data, campaign performance, and customer behaviour to refine tactics and prove ROI.

About You: Skills & Experience

· Data-First, but Personally Creative: You have a strong analytical mindset and prefer looking at performance metrics and conversion data over purely aesthetic design. However, you aren't a robot - we want a pinch of creative flair and someone who actively brings fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

· Proactive Remote Communicator: Because this is a remote role, your communication skills need to be exceptional. Without watercooler chats or passive listening in an office, you must be someone who inherently thinks, "Who needs to know this?" and intentionally closes the loop. This requires a deliberate, proactive communication style quite different from an office environment.

· Lead Gen & Journey Expert: You understand how to market high-ticket, low-volume services where the online experience transitions into a high-touch, offline conversation ("call to book").

· Technical Familiarity: Comfortable working within WordPress environments.

· Industry Experience: Background in the luxury travel sector is highly helpful and a definite plus, but not essential for the right data-savvy marketer.

Package & Flexibility

Salary: c £35,000 FTE
