Procurement Administrator

Milton Keynes

Immediate start - ongoing long term temp role

37.5 hours per week

£15.38ph - £17.94ph dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the Procurement team.
Raise and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and update supplier, pricing and product information on internal systems.
Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, pricing and invoice queries.
Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up on delivery dates.
Check order confirmations and ensure all information is correct.
Assist with resolving discrepancies between purchase orders, deliveries and invoices.
Support the sourcing of new suppliers and obtain quotations when required.
Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation and reports.
Prepare spreadsheets and reports to support purchasing and stock management.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure purchasing requirements are met.
Respond to internal and external procurement queries in a timely manner.
Support the wider Procurement team with general administration and ad-hoc duties.

Skills and Experience:

Previous administration experience, ideally within procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office packages.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
