Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £12 - £14 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of welcoming private day nursery's in the Wakefield area to recruit Nursery Assistants. The nurturing settingings are committed to providing safe, stimulating and engaging environments where children can learn, play and thrive through high quality early years education.

We are looking to appoint Nursery Assistants on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children across the nursery's assisting with daily routines, encouraging learning through play and helping to create a positive and inclusive environment for every child.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

A minimum of six months' experience working within a childcare setting
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
A willingness to support across different age groups where required
