IT Equipment Coordinator

£16.21 per hour

Manchester City Centre

On-going temp role, fully office based

Full-time (37 hours per week)

Office Angels are recruiting for an IT Equipment Coordinator for a regulatory body whose head office is based in Manchester City Centre. This role sits in between the IT service desk and the IT operations team assisting with coordinating equipment to colleagues. This role does not involve day to day helpdesk support.

This vacancy is temporary, guaranteed for the next 3-4 months, however there is a strong possibility of extension and you will have the ability to apply for permanent positions.

This role is due to start imminently, you must be available to start at a relatively short notice. Due to the nature of the organisation, the successful candidate will be subject to a standard DBS check and a 3-year reference clearance, and you will be required to provide up-to-date proofs of address and contact details of referees.

Key Responsibilities:

Distribute and collect IT equipment for employees across the Manchester office.
Support laptop and hardware rollout programmes, including device swaps and upgrades
Provide clear guidance to users to help resolve basic device setup issues

Person Specification:

Previous IT or helpdesk experience is not essential; this role would suit someone looking to gain experience within an IT environment
Strong customer service and communication skills with confidence interacting with colleagues face-to-face on a daily basis
Comfortable undertaking routine and repetitive tasks while maintaining a high standard of work
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and update systems in real time
Well organised, reliable and able to manage multiple requests in a busy office environment
Positive, approachable and team-oriented, with a willingness to support colleagues and deliver a great user experience
Excellent verbal and written English (essential)
Basic understanding of safeguarding (desirable)
