This HR Officer role offers the opportunity to support a busy people function across employee relations, recruitment, HR administration and HR projects. You'll work closely with managers and employees, providing first-line HR support while helping deliver an excellent employee experience

Client Details

Our client is a well-established Higher Education organisation, based in London, committed to creating an inclusive, collaborative and people-focused working environment. They are seeking an HR professional who enjoys variety, stakeholder engagement and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Description

Act as a first point of contact for HR queries and employee relations matters.
Maintain HR records, employee data and HR system information.
Prepare HR documentation including contracts and employment changes.
Support employee relations cases, investigations and formal meetings.
Deliver onboarding activities and HR inductions.
Produce HR reports and management information.
Assist with policy reviews, HR projects and process improvements.
Support wellbeing initiatives and employee engagement activities.
Manage HR inbox queries and ensure timely responses.
Keep up to date with employment law and HR best practice

Profile

Previous experience in a generalist HR role.
Experience supporting employee relations cases.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Experience using HR systems and databases.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
Customer-focused with a proactive and collaborative approach

Job Offer

Salary ranging from £32,000 to £37,000, dependent on the level of experience.
Hybrid working model with two days in the office each week.
Permanent position in a not-for-profit organisation.
