Part-Time Administrator

Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire | £14.00 per hour | Monday–Friday, 9:00am–2:30pm | Temp to Perm. Immediate start required. Own transport due to location.

Our client, a well-established business based in Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire, is looking for an experienced and proactive Administrator to join their small and friendly team on a part-time, permanent basis.

The position will initially start on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

This is a varied and busy role where you will provide essential administrative support to a team of technicians working in the field, while also being a key point of contact for customers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Providing day-to-day administrative support to a team of field-based technicians
Using Salesforce to manage customer and job information
Maintaining and updating spreadsheets and databases
Typing and formatting technician reports and inventories
Uploading reports, documents and other job-related information
Organising customer appointments and scheduling works
Coordinating technician diaries and workloads
Preparing quotations and following up with customers
Creating and processing invoices
Speaking with customers on a daily basis and providing a professional first point of contact
Handling incoming telephone calls and enquiries
Responding to and composing professional emails
Following up with customers regarding completed works
Ensuring outstanding actions and customer queries are followed through to completion
Keeping accurate records and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly
Supporting the wider team with general administration as required

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident who enjoys working in a varied administrative role.

You will need:

Previous administration experience
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good telephone manner and confidence speaking with customers
Good IT skills and confidence using spreadsheets
Experience using Salesforce would be advantageous
The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload
A proactive approach with the ability to use your own initiative
The confidence to follow up on outstanding jobs, customer queries and actions
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
A reliable and professional approach
The ability to work independently as well as as part of a small team
