Location: Central Leicester

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible / 4-day week options considered)

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

About Client

Our client is a close-knit, Leicester-based legal practice providing dedicated services across Property Law (40%), Probate & Estates (40%), and Family Law (20%). They pride themselves on delivering an efficient, high-quality, and personable service to their clients.

The Role

They are seeking an enthusiastic Legal Secretary or Assistant to join their team. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to our individual solicitors across dynamic, fast-paced practice areas, including litigation and planning departments.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support: Assist individual solicitors with daily operational and administrative tasks within fast-paced legal departments.
Document Management: Prepare, process, and handle sensitive legal documentation with high precision, maintaining data integrity and strict compliance with legal standards.
Case Management: Maintain and update electronic case management systems, including file closing, cost scheduling, and invoicing.
Client & Diary Coordination: Manage solicitor diaries, schedule client appointments, and act as the first point of contact for external professional communications.

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience in a legal support or administrative role (preferred, but training is provided for Junior candidates).
No formal legal qualifications required-value reliability, practical skills, and a strong work ethic. Above all.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Comfortable using electronic case management software and general office technology.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
