Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for your next opportunity within a friendly, established Private Client team?

I'm currently recruiting for my client in Merry Hill, who are looking for a confident and organised Legal Secretary to join their Private Client department.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being the person who keeps everything moving - supporting fee earners, staying on top of deadlines and making sure clients receive a first-class service.

What will you be doing?

You'll provide day-to-day secretarial and administrative support across a busy Private Client caseload, including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
Audio typing and transcription of dictations
Managing diaries, appointments and emails
Liaising confidently with clients, colleagues and external contacts
Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems
Supporting document management, data entry and general administration
Using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel to keep things organised
Managing your workload effectively and ensuring deadlines are met

What are they looking for?

Ideally, you'll already have experience working as a Legal Secretary within Private Client, or in a similar legal secretarial role.

You'll need:

Strong audio typing skills and excellent attention to detail
Previous experience within a law firm
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
A professional, friendly and client-focused approach
