Production Operative

Location: Sharston, Wythenshawe

Shift Pattern

Days

7:00am - 7:00pm

Nights

7:00pm - 7:00am

Rotation

3 Days On / 3 Days Off
Includes weekends

Pay Rate

£12.71 per hour (Days & Nights)
All breaks paid
Night shift rate increases to £16.06 per hour after 12 weeks

The Role

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment in the Sharston area. Our client specialises in the production of small plastic moulded products and is looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join their growing team.

This is an excellent ongoing opportunity for the right candidate, with full training provided and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Operating production machinery (once fully trained)
Packing small plastic products as they are produced
Conducting quality inspections and identifying any defects
Ensuring products meet company quality standards
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Meeting production targets and performance expectations

Be reliable, productive, and hardworking
Have good numeracy and literacy skills
Be flexible and willing to work alternative shifts when required
Be able to communicate effectively and follow both written and verbal instructions
Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
