Registered Manager – Therapeutic Children's Home

Location: Bristol

Salary: OTE £70,000 (based on a 40-hour week and performance)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm

Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 3-bed therapeutic children's home in Bristol, supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to establish and shape a high-quality, trauma-informed service, leading a dedicated team committed to achieving positive outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities

Register with Ofsted and manage the day-to-day operation of the home.
Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing care team.
Deliver exceptional, child-centred, trauma-informed care.
Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and safeguarding legislation.
Build positive relationships with children, families and external professionals.
Drive the home towards GOOD or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
Manage staffing, budgets, rotas and overall service performance.

Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
Minimum 5 years' residential childcare experience.
At least 2 years' experience managing a children's residential home.
Experience supporting children with SEMH and complex trauma.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and Children's Homes legislation.
Full UK Driving Licence.
