PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Location: Wakefield (WF1)
Pay: £12.71 per hour – Days | £13.71 per hour – Nights
Shift Patterns: Monday to Thursday (or Friday), 5:45am–5:45pm / 5:45pm–5:45am OR 10PM-6AM Sunday to Thursday OR 6AM-2PM Monday to Friday OR 2PM-10PM Monday to Friday OR rotating shifts weekly AM and PM (6AM-2PM/2PM-10PM).

THH Recruitment are working with a long-established textile manufacturer in Wakefield who are looking for reliable and motivated Production Operators to join their growing team.

This is more than just a production role. For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into a Team Leader/Supervisory position as you develop your skills and experience.

Whether you already have machine operating experience or have worked in a general manufacturing environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career within a clean, well-organised and supportive workplace.

The Role

Your day-to-day duties will include:

Operating textile machinery safely and efficiently
Keeping production running smoothly and meeting daily targets
Carrying out general production duties across the factory
Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues
Following company procedures and health & safety standards
Working as part of a busy and supportive production team
Helping to maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment

What We're Looking For

Experienced in manufacturing, production or factory environments
Comfortable working with machinery or willing to learn
Reliable, hardworking and consistent
A strong team player with a positive attitude
Safety-conscious with a good understanding of workplace procedures
Keen to learn, develop and progress within a company
