Your new company
My client is a local employer of choice! A higher education provider in the area, you will be supporting one of their core central service functions through the busy and exciting freshers period! Immersed in an electric atmosphere, you will need to be available from Friday 18th September to Friday 2nd October inclusive!
Your new role
Working closely with the team leader, you will be providing key clerical support during the busy new academic year for the university! You will be supporting with general student information record keeping, assisting with the verification checking, creation of awards and certifications, and any other ad hoc administration duties required to fulfil the requirements of the team. You may be front-facing, issuing ID cards to students for the duration, which can be a busy environment. You will be based on campus for the duration of the period.
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience working with student administration in higher or further education would be desirable due to the immediate need, but administrative / clerical experience in any field will be considered. You will have excellent customer service skills, and be comfortable working front-facing when required. IT literate, you will be used to working with large databases, and be able to accurately and effectively record information with minimal errors. With your proactive attitude, you will be happy to support with ad hoc duties as required. You will be available for an immediate start!
What you'll get in return
Working in a city centre location, you will have access to superb public transport links. You will have a 30-hour working week, and have an hourly rate of £15ph inclusive of holiday pay (£13.38ph pre holiday), which is paid weekly to you!
