Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with a fantastic organisation who are looking for an HR Coordinator to join their team in Coventry. This is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a busy environment and wants a role with genuine variety across HR administration, recruitment and employee support.

The Role

Working closely with the HR team, you'll provide end-to-end administrative support across the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on recruitment and maintaining accurate personnel records.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing high-volume recruitment administration from application through to appointment and induction
Advertising vacancies and coordinating shortlisting and interview processes
Preparing interview packs, schedules and recruitment documentation
Supporting managers with recruitment activity and recruitment events
Producing offer letters and contracts and processing contractual changes
Coordinating pre-employment and safer recruitment checks, including references, DBS and employment history
Maintaining accurate employee records, personnel files and probation information
Supporting sickness absence and Return-to-Work administration
Responding to HR queries professionally and confidentially
Maintaining recruitment trackers, spreadsheets and HR records
Supporting wider HR and office administration when required

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

You'll ideally have:

At least one year's office-based administration experience
Some previous HR administration or recruitment experience
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Experience handling confidential information
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
The confidence to work independently and use your own initiative
A professional, friendly and adaptable approach
Ideally, CIPD Level 3 or an HR/Admin qualification
