Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and physically capable Production Operative specializing in heavy lifting and sheet metal work. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to manufacturing high quality metal components. Duties

Safely lift, move, and position heavy sheets of metal using appropriate manual or powered tools
Operate hand tools, power tools, and tooling to cut, shape, grind, and finish sheet metal components
Assist with fabrication tasks such as welding, grinding, and assembling metal parts according to specifications
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Follow safety protocols at all times during heavy lifting, fabrication, and assembly tasks

Qualifications

Experience with fabrication processes including grinding, welding, or sheet metal work is preferred
Mechanical knowledge or background in working with hand tools and tooling
Ability to lift heavy objects safely and consistently throughout shifts
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
Familiarity with assembly processes involving sheet metal components
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills
