We work with clients across the building services, MEP, architectural, retail, homebuilding and construction sectors, supporting leading organisations with design, BIM and pre-construction solutions.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead business development and account management activities across the UK AEC market.

This is a UK-based, high-impact hybrid position suited to a proactive sales professional with experience in AEC, MEP, building engineering services, BIM, CAD or related technical services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing strategic client relationships and growing Axium Global's presence within the UK market. The role will involve regular interaction with senior decision-makers and collaboration with our India-based technical and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop and close new business opportunities across the UK AEC, MEP, infrastructure and real estate sectors.
Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, client meetings, solution development, proposals, negotiations and contract closure.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers, including Directors, Partners, Heads of Engineering, BIM Managers and other key stakeholders.
Manage and grow existing client accounts while identifying opportunities for additional services and long-term partnerships.
Develop territory and account plans aligned with company revenue and business development objectives.
Work closely with Axium's India-based engineering, BIM and delivery teams to develop client-specific solutions and proposals.
Represent Axium Global at client meetings, industry events, networking opportunities and relevant AEC conferences.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts, reports and market intelligence to senior management.
Work with the marketing team on campaigns, webinars, events and other initiatives designed to generate qualified UK opportunities.
Travel across the UK as required to meet clients and support business development activities.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years' experience in B2B business development, sales or account management, preferably within MEP, building engineering services or technical design services.
2–3 years' experience within the AEC industry or a closely related technical environment.
Experience selling services such as MEP engineering, BIM, CAD, architectural design, building services or related professional/technical services would be highly advantageous.
Candidate should have prior experience in selling to Retail/Homebuilders/ Architects/ MEP, in one or more of these areas.
Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-management skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business or a related discipline is preferred.

Additional Requirements

The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, as the role involves UK-wide client travel.
Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally to Europe.
Flexibility to participate in meetings outside standard UK working hours when required to support India or US time zones.

Office: Occasional attendance at Axium's Worcestershire office
Travel: UK-wide client travel, with occasional European travel
