Senior Business Support Officer needed!

* Salary: £15.38ph

* Location: City Hall, BS1

* Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

We have a Senior Business Support Officer role available providing critical administrative support to our Grants service and Human Resources (HR) administering and updating the digital training platform..

We are seeking a highly resilient and adaptable Senior Business Support Officer to join Business Support Services. Our team prides itself on offering high-quality administrative and business support predominantly to internal council teams.

This is predominantly an office-based position based at City Hall in Bristol.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team the nature of our work is highly variable, and you will frequently need to pivot to address urgent, unplanned tasks at short notice. This role would suit someone who can handle unexpected work requests and dynamically manage their workload.

As part of a multidisciplinary team you will have a variety of work streams to lead on, working with a variety of colleagues both within the team and across the organisation.

You will work closely with colleagues supporting HR with the learning and development hub, keeping the training system up to date, dealing with email enquires and taking ownership of other issues escalated to you. You will need an eye for detail to spot inaccuracies and errors as well as be a "self starter" learning as you go.

Another primary focus of the role will be to provide administrative support to our Grants service who work with communities across the city with accessing government funding.
