We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Wirer for our client. This position involves assembling and wiring electrical control panels in line with technical specifications and industry standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality electrical assemblies while maintaining safety and efficiency within the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Review parts lists and verify measurements and specifications prior to assembly.
Assemble electrical components accurately and securely within control panels.
Wire components in accordance with approved wiring schematics.
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, carrying out repairs where necessary.
Perform routine checks and assist with preventative maintenance activities.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Follow all company and industry health and safety regulations.
Use materials and resources efficiently to minimise waste.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in panel wiring or electrical assembly (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and relevant workshop equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Good manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination.
Ability to carry out repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods.
Knowledge of industrial manufacturing and quality control processes.
Good eyesight, including the ability to distinguish between colours.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
