Our client, a well-established and highly regarded consultancy based in Cheltenham, is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Administrator to join their growing Business Support team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive and detail-focused individual looking to build and develop their career within Health, Safety, Environment and Quality. You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive business where you’ll have the opportunity to gain valuable experience, take on responsibility and progress your career within a specialist HSEQ environment.

The successful Health & Safety Administrator should have:

Previous administration experience, ideally within a Health & Safety, HSEQ, compliance or similar environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and confident approach.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage a varied workload and competing priorities.
A proactive, can-do attitude with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right.
A genuine interest in Health & Safety and a desire to develop your knowledge and career within the sector.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to occasionally travel to another company office.

In this role, the Health & Safety Administrator will be responsible for:

Providing key day-to-day administrative support across a broad range of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality activities.
Managing the health and safety inbox, responding to enquiries and ensuring requests are efficiently directed to the appropriate team members.
Maintaining accurate compliance records, documentation and databases, ensuring information is up to date and readily accessible.
Supporting ongoing health and safety projects, initiatives and improvements across the business.
Assisting with routine health and safety administration, helping to ensure key actions and tasks are completed accurately and within required timescales.
Working closely with colleagues across the business to deliver a high-quality internal support service and help promote a strong culture of health and safety best practice.

Our client is offering the successful Health & Safety Administrator a salary of up to £33,000 alongside an excellent benefits package, including 30 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and your birthday off, pension contribution, private medical insurance, profit share bonus scheme, hybrid and flexible working, ongoing training and development, and genuine career progression opportunities.
