Location: Home-Based (100% Remote)
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Role Overview
We are recruiting an organised and detail-oriented Employability Admin Officer to support the successful delivery of the Connect to Work programme.
This is a fully remote position, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with employability, welfare-to-work, administration, customer service or programme support experience to play a key role within a nationally funded employment programme.
As the Employability Admin Officer, you will act as the first point of contact for programme enquiries and referrals, supporting the triage and onboarding process for participants joining the Connect to Work programme. You will ensure referrals are processed efficiently, eligibility requirements are applied consistently, and accurate records are maintained across programme systems.
This role is ideal for somebody who enjoys administration, data management, stakeholder communication and compliance-focused activity while contributing to positive employment outcomes for participants.

Key Responsibilities:

Referral Management & Participant Administration
· Act as the first point of contact for Connect to Work programme enquiries.
· Process participant referrals and Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
· Conduct eligibility and suitability checks in line with programme guidance.
· Ensure referrals are processed accurately and within agreed service standards.
· Provide information, guidance and support to participants, referrers and partner organisations.
· Support the onboarding and engagement process for new programme participants.

Administration & Data Management
· Maintain accurate participant records across CRM, PRaP and management information systems.
· Ensure data quality, integrity and compliance with programme requirements.
· Process programme documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
· Maintain confidentiality of participant information at all times.
· Manage referral pipelines and track participant progress through programme systems.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
· Monitor referral activity, timelines and service performance.
· Produce reports, management information and performance updates.
· Support quality assurance activities and data validation checks.
· Identify trends, bottlenecks and opportunities for service improvement.
· Assist with funding compliance and contractual reporting requirements.

Partnership & Stakeholder Support
· Develop positive working relationships with delivery partners and external stakeholders.
· Support commissioned providers with programme guidance and referral processes.
· Maintain databases of employability, skills and community support provision.
· Signpost individuals to alternative services where they are not eligible for Connect to Work.
· Support stakeholder engagement activities and programme promotion.

Compliance, Quality & Safeguarding
· Ensure all activity is delivered in line with DWP guidance and programme requirements.
· Maintain awareness of safeguarding policies and procedures.
· Adhere to GDPR, equality, diversity and company policies.
· Support quality, audit and compliance activities.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the programme.

Essential Criteria
· Educated to Level 3 standard or equivalent.
· Level 2 English and Maths.
· Experience within administration, employability, welfare-to-work, customer service or programme support environments.
· Experience maintaining accurate records and working with databases or CRM systems.
· Excellent organisational and administration skills.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
· Experience working towards service standards, targets or KPIs.
· Ability to work independently within a remote environment.

Desirable Criteria
· Experience within Connect to Work, Restart, Work and Health Programme, IPS or Supported Employment services.
· Knowledge of DWP-funded employment programmes.
· Advice & Guidance qualification.
· Employability, administration or project support qualification.
· Experience working with unemployed individuals or disadvantaged groups.
· Understanding of safeguarding within employability services.
· Knowledge of local labour market information and support services.

Additional Information
· Fully remote position.
· Enhanced DBS check required.
· Occasional travel for training or team meetings may be required.
· Equipment and systems provided to support home working.
· Role supports the delivery of the Connect to Work programme.
