Adhoc Temporary Receptionist
Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Hours: Monday to Friday, shifts typically between 9am - 5pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

We are recruiting on behalf of our clients for a professional and personable Receptionist to support their teams on an ongoing ad hoc temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible work who enjoys front-of-house responsibilities and thrives in a busy, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming visitors and maintaining a professional reception area
Handling incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
Managing meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared for visitors
Providing general administrative support and assisting with facilities coordination
Liaising professionally with internal teams and external contacts

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or customer service role
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Confident using Microsoft Office and other office systems
Friendly, professional and able to work independently
Flexible and available to cover shifts at short notice when required
