Warehouse Operations Administrator

Location: Sutton
Salary: £25-£40k - DOE
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time, On-Site

This varied role combines office administration, customer service, and installation scheduling responsibilities with hands-on operational support. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating installation activities, communicating with customers and field teams, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations.

Please note that this role involves regular manual handling duties, including the safe lifting and movement of heavy Objects . Applicants must be physically capable of undertaking these tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate installation schedules and diaries.
Liaise with customers to arrange and reschedule installation appointments.
Communicate with installation teams to ensure efficient diary management.
Respond to scheduling changes and resolve issues as they arise.
Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email.
Provide a professional and friendly point of contact for customers.
Support general office administration and business operations.
Assist with the safe lifting and movement of heavy objects when required.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to support operational efficiency.
Use initiative and problem-solving skills to maintain service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in an office administration, scheduling, customer service, or similar role.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Confident and professional telephone manner.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
Ability to work proactively and use initiative.
Calm and adaptable approach when managing changing priorities.
Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting duties.
Good team player with a flexible and hands-on approach.
Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable Skills

Experience coordinating installations, logistics, or field-based operations.
Previous diary management or scheduling experience.
Knowledge of manual handling best practices.
Experience working within a trade, manufacturing, construction, or similar environment.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
