Location: Braintree

Salary : £25,000 - £30,000

Benefits : 25 days holiday + bank holidays, parking on site, friendly, supportive team.

Our client, a leading organisation in their industry, is seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Order Processing Administrator to join their well established and friendly team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently process customer orders, ensuring all information is entered correctly and completed within agreed timescales.
Prepare and issue quotations, sales orders, and supporting documentation to facilitate smooth transactions.
Manage incoming telephone calls, professionally handling customer enquiries and directing calls to appropriate team members when needed.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails, maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Provide administrative support to both the Sales team ensuring daily operations run seamlessly.
Maintain accurate customer records, databases, and filing systems in line with company procedures.
Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding orders, delivery schedules, stock availability, and any associated queries.
Assist with scheduling appointments, preparing documentation, and coordinating general office administration activities.
Contribute to maintaining a professional, organised, and welcoming office environment for colleagues, customers, and visitors.

Skills and Attributes:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer focused approach.
Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team success.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
