Account Manager | Customer Account Manager | Client Account Manager

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Account Manager / Customer Account Manager to join a growing business in Exeter.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in retail management, hospitality management, customer care or sales management who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities and delivering excellent customer service.

What We Offer

£28,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Permanent position.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm.
One Saturday in four, working from home.

Key Duties

Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, from sole traders to senior leaders.
Identify opportunities to develop and grow client accounts.
Support business growth through cross-selling and upselling.
Handle client queries professionally and provide effective solutions.
Work closely with the Manager to achieve business objectives.
Develop new business through networking, marketing, community engagement and client meetings.
Take a consultative approach to understand client needs and identify suitable solutions.
Maintain strong, long-term B2B relationships.
Monitor market and client activity to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

Previous experience in account management, sales, retail management, hospitality management or customer care.
Experience winning new business and developing B2B relationships.
Customer-focused approach with a strong commercial mindset.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Confident handling queries and identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell.
Tenacious, proactive and commercially curious.
Strong questioning and listening skills.
Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Positive, can-do attitude and commitment to supporting business growth.
