Registered Children's Home Manager

Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £55,000 (dependent on experience)
Bonus: Up to £8,500 per year

Esland is looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Children's Home Manager to lead one of our high-quality Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children's homes. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a registered children's home.
Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to the staff team.
Promote positive outcomes for children and young people through high-quality care planning and delivery.
Build meaningful relationships with children, families, professionals, and external agencies.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and ensure the welfare of every child is paramount.
Recruit, develop, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional care.
Manage budgets and resources effectively while maintaining quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement and prepare the home for Ofsted inspections.

About You

Essential Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
Minimum of two years' experience in a role relevant to residential childcare.
Previous experience managing or leading a children's residential home.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, Children's Homes Regulations, and Ofsted requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to build positive and productive working relationships.
Passion for promoting independence, life skills, and positive outcomes for young people.
