Are you an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant looking for flexible work within private day nurseries in York?

Do you have experience supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with private day nurseries across York who are looking for a Nursery Assistant to provide flexible day-to-day support. The settings provide welcoming and engaging environments for children under the age of 5, with a focus on supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.

The successful Nursery Assistant will work on a flexible, day-to-day basis, making this an ideal opportunity for students or those looking for part-time work. You will support children throughout the nursery while assisting existing staff with the day-to-day running of the room and helping to provide a safe, positive and engaging environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

Experience working with children under the age of 5 is desirable
A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
Flexibility and adaptability when working across nursery rooms
A reliable and positive attitude
