As a Product Compliance Specialist in the retail industry, you'll be key to ensuring products meet all necessary regulations and standards. Based in Skelmersdale, you'll help keep the business running smoothly by managing compliance processes and supporting product approvals.

Client Details

A great opportunity to join a successful business in Skelmersdale area. They import from the Far East and Europe where they have a showroom as well as in the UK head office. They are a Sedex Member and FSX certified. The business supply a number of retailers in the UK and Europe , everyday and seasonal products.

Description

Ensure all products comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Maintain accurate records of compliance documentation.
Work closely with suppliers to obtain and verify product certifications.
Monitor regulatory updates and ensure timely implementation of changes.
Support product testing and approval processes as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance queries and issues.
Conduct periodic audits of product compliance documentation and processes.
Provide training or guidance to staff on compliance requirements.

Profile

A successful Product Compliance Specialist should have:

A strong understanding of product compliance and regulatory requirements in the retail sector.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Confidence in managing documentation and working with external suppliers.
Ability to keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and apply them effectively.
Good communication skills to work across teams and provide guidance when needed.

Job Offer

Salary between £32,000 and £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
Flexible working hours.
