Description

Assist with processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
Support the team with bank reconciliations and ledger updates.
Prepare and input financial data into the accounting system.
Help with month-end reporting and account reconciliations.
Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
Respond to internal and external financial queries efficiently.
Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Work closely with the team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Trainee Accounts Assistant should have:

A strong interest in accounting and finance within the retail sector.
Good numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

Job Offer

Competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £30,000, dependent on the level of experience.
