Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse / Nursery Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and safe environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, fostering positive interactions, and ensuring each child's individual needs are met. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for childcare, excellent communication skills, and relevant nursery experience. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning journeys while working within a collaborative team committed to high standards of care.

Duties

Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Assist in supervising children during playtime, mealtimes, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety at all times.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging independence, curiosity, and confidence.
Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences.
Support management in implementing early childhood education best practices and curriculum planning.
Contribute to the management of daily routines and assist with administrative tasks related to childcare documentation.
Demonstrate leadership qualities when supervising junior staff or volunteers, ensuring consistent quality of care.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
Knowledge of child development principles and childcare best practices.
Strong management and leadership skills to support team collaboration.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Relevant childcare qualifications or certifications preferred (e.g., CACHE, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare). Or BA in Early Years Education from Uk or Overseas. Or QTS, Montessori Teaching Qualification
Valid driving license is desirable for roles involving transportation or home visits.
Passionate about early childhood education with a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment.
