This is a highly impactful role for an experienced performance marketer with a strong background in B2B SaaS, ideally working with mid-market to enterprise-level customers.

The successful candidate will be a highly analytical, data-driven marketer with a proven track record of driving growth through performance marketing. You will take ownership of paid media strategy and execution across the full funnel, using data, experimentation and customer insight to drive qualified leads, acquisition, engagement and revenue.

You will have experience across paid search, paid social, display and programmatic channels, combined with the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on with campaign optimisation and execution.

The Role

As the Senior B2B Performance Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the wider Marketing team and cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Product, Data and Commercial teams to develop, test and iterate performance marketing campaigns that deliver measurable business results.

You will own, develop and scale paid media campaigns across the full customer journey, with a focus on driving acquisition, adoption, engagement and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable developing a long-term channel strategy and getting into the detail of campaign performance, making tactical optimisations and quickly responding to opportunities in a fast-growing and sometimes ambiguous environment.

You will also play an important role in fostering a creative and experimental culture, developing new approaches to ad creative and targeting, building robust testing frameworks and using performance data to identify and scale what works.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Marketing Strategy

Develop and execute comprehensive, full-funnel paid media strategies across search, social, display and programmatic channels.
Build channel strategies aligned to wider business objectives, customer segments and revenue targets.
Own the strategy for acquiring and engaging mid-market and enterprise-level customers.
Balance long-term channel development with hands-on tactical optimisation.
Identify new opportunities for growth across existing and emerging paid media channels.
Continuously evaluate channel performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scale and commercial impact.

Paid Media Management

Own the day-to-day management and optimisation of paid media campaigns across the full funnel.
Manage campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Meta, alongside display and programmatic channels.
Lead the launch, testing and optimisation of ad creative, audiences, bidding strategies and landing pages.
Develop sophisticated audience targeting and segmentation strategies.
Ensure campaigns are structured effectively to support scalability, measurement and optimisation.
Monitor campaign performance closely and make data-led decisions to maximise results.

Budget & Commercial Management

Own budget allocation and pacing across paid media channels.
Ensure investment is allocated effectively to maximise ROAS, CPA and overall marketing efficiency.
Lead paid media budget planning, forecasting and performance reporting.
Monitor the financial health of the paid media programme and communicate performance and budget progress to key stakeholders.
Make informed recommendations on budget allocation based on performance, opportunity and commercial priorities.

Testing, Measurement & Optimisation

Establish rigorous testing frameworks across paid media, including A/B testing, incrementally testing and geo-lift studies.
Develop measurement frameworks to understand campaign effectiveness and true incremental impact.
Drive continuous innovation across attribution, measurement and incrementally testing.
Analyse campaign data to identify performance drivers, trends and opportunities.
Use statistical analysis and experimentation to inform campaign decisions.

Creative & Audience Strategy

Work collaboratively with creative and content teams to develop high-performing paid media creative.
Develop new approaches to ad creative, messaging, audience targeting and campaign activation.
Build structured testing programmes to understand what creative and messaging resonates with different customer segments.

Innovation & Growth

Explore and test emerging paid media opportunities and platforms.
Stay ahead of developments in digital advertising, including AI-powered advertising formats and automation.
Identify opportunities across new platforms such as Reddit and other emerging channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Sales, Product, Data, RevOps and wider Marketing teams to align performance marketing activity with broader business objectives.
Work closely with enterprise sales teams to understand pipeline requirements and customer acquisition priorities.
Collaborate with Product Marketing and Content teams to ensure paid campaigns are aligned with positioning, messaging and customer needs.

Agency & Platform Management

Manage relationships with external agencies, technology partners and advertising platforms.
Hold agency and platform partners accountable for performance and agreed objectives.
