JOB TITLE: Higher Education Administrator

LOCATION: Brighton

HOURS: 37.5 Hours

SHIFT: 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday

SALARY: £13.75 per hour

DURATION: Ongoing

Role Responsibility:

Coordinate and support the planning, scheduling and delivery of activities, events and meetings, ensuring timelines and resources are effectively managed.
Act as the first point of contact for staff, students and other stakeholders, providing high-quality advice, guidance and customer service.
Manage and respond to enquiries, assessing and resolving issues where possible and escalating complex matters appropriately.
Create, maintain and distribute clear, accurate and engaging communications across a range of channels, including websites and guidance materials.
Support quality assurance processes and feedback activities, helping to monitor service performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Maintain accurate records and documentation, producing reports and data insights on attendance, usage and service uptake.
Collaborate with colleagues across teams and departments to share information, improve processes and contribute to the effective delivery of services.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in office administration essential
Excellent communicator - written and verbal
Total proficiency with Microsoft programmes
Keen eye for detail, punctual and organise
Professional telephone manner and communication skills
High level organisational and time management skills
Ability to work as both a team member and in a stand-alone position
Strong initiative and proactive working manner
Able to manage complex processes using initiative and taking responsibility
