Sales Executive

Doncaster | Full-time | Permanent

c£30,000 plus commission and expenses

Our client designs and delivers specialist vehicle conversions, transforming standard commercial vehicles into practical, purpose-built solutions for customers across a range of industries.

They are looking for a Sales Executive to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an entry level position and an excellent opportunity for someone with experience or knowledge of the automotive or commercial vehicle sector who is looking to develop a career in sales and business development.

Working closely with the sales manager and other sales execs, you will help generate new business opportunities, build relationships and support the entire sales process.

Full product, industry and vehicle conversion training will be provided.

Duties of the Sales Executive include:

Identifying and developing new customer opportunities across commercial vehicle fleets, leasing companies, vehicle operators, civils and building industry and other sectors.

Making outbound calls, sending emails and using LinkedIn to introduce the business to prospective customers.

Following up enquiries and maintaining regular contact with prospects.

Recording customer interactions and sales activity within the CRM system.

Supporting lead generation activities and helping to build a healthy pipeline of opportunities.

Qualifying enquiries and gathering information on customer vehicle and operational requirements.

Assisting with quotations, customer information and sales documentation with support from the wider team.

Attending customer visits, trade events, exhibitions and networking opportunities across the UK.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is essential.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

Experience or knowledge of the automotive or commercial vehicle sector gained through dealerships, fleet, leasing, rental, parts, service, vehicle conversions or a similar environment.

An interest in sales and business development and a desire to build a long-term career in a customer-focused role.

Confidence communicating with customers both over the phone and face-to-face.

A proactive approach and willingness to learn.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Competent Word and Excel skills, with CRM experience being advantageous but not essential.

Previous sales experience would be beneficial but is not essential. We are equally keen to hear from automotive professionals looking to move into a sales-focused role, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Benefits

Salary: c£30,000 DOE

Commission/Bonus: Based on achievable and motivational targets.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm

Holidays: 25 days plus statutory holidays
