Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician - Plumber to provide maintenance, repair and general building support across our site. You will help minimise downtime, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure company facilities remain in excellent condition.

We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician - Plumber to provide maintenance, repair and general building support across our site. You will help minimise downtime, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure company facilities remain in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across buildings and utilities.
• Undertake general repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical work, decorating and grounds maintenance.
• Complete maintenance records, inspections and compliance documentation accurately.
• Conduct routine health & safety checks and address any issues identified.
• Coordinate and support external contractors on site.
• Perform minor mechanical and electrical repairs to buildings and utilities.
• Report breakdowns, maintenance issues and repair requirements promptly.
• Maintain technical records and ensure maintenance procedures are followed.
• Support continuous improvement projects and undertake other reasonable duties as required.
• General plumbing tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment
• Assist in the construction and refurbishment of new and existing properties
• Travel to various sites as required

Qualifications

• Experience working in a facilities team.
• Appropriate qualification in either:-Commercial Plumbing NVQ level 3 or Equivalent & Gas Safe qualification
• Qualified and certified for G3 unvented hot water system
• Able to maintain and build effective internal and external relationships
• Drainage Qualification desirable
• Air Condition installation and decommissioning desirable
• Mobile Boom certificate (IPAF)
• Mobile Access Towers (PASMA)
• Proven experience in general plumbing and facilities maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel and work at different locations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
