Job Overview

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Live-in Care Assistants to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. As a Live-in Care Assistant, you will live with the client during your placement, offering practical support, companionship, and personal care to help them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling.
Prepare nutritious meals and support with eating and drinking where required.
Administer or prompt medication in line with care plans and company policies.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with household duties such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation.
Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, and outings.
Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or emotional wellbeing.
Maintain accurate daily care records.
Follow individual care plans and ensure all care is delivered with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in care is essential
A caring, patient, and compassionate nature.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Flexibility to work on a live-in rota.
